AUTOMATED DRUM LOADING SYSTEM:

Conical Blenders can be furnished with a PLC controlled automated drum loading system. With one full revolution of the blender, the entire contents of a product container (Fiber, Plastic, or Stainless Steel Drum) can be transferred into the blender and back into drums after mixing, in a dust free operation. This system eliminates costly mezzanine platforms, and other feed systems which require special docking mechanisms that create risk of spillage. During loading, the operator simply rolls the drum onto the roller conveyor, raises the lift to squeeze the drum against the valve discharge flange seal, and initiates the oad cycle. The blender slowly rotates one revolution while automatically opening and closing the valve, and stopping at the zero position. The empty drum is lowered, and replaced with a full container to repeat the cycle until all contents are charged. During discharging an empty drum is positioned on the roller conveyor and sealed against the valve discharge flange seal. The operator opens/closes the valve to fill the drum, lowers the drum, and replaces with an empty drum to repeat the cycle until all contents have been discharged.

MIXING BOWL:

The mixing bowl is circular in shape and it has large diameter and flat base. The top part of the bowl is designed in conical shape so that it is easy to mix cohesive powders. It is very sturdy as it is made of SS 316/ 316L. The drive shaft is surrounded by a tube with large diameter, where it enters the base part of the bowl.

It has the main drive, shaft seal on the top of the tube so that it can be above the normal powder level. The shaft seal comes with an automatic air purge. On flushing the seal housing and drive shaft with cleaning water, discharge port drains it away from the machine. As per the design, the multi-bladed impeller is fixed close to the mixing bowl base and the chopper is fitted on the mixing bowl wall. To softly disturb the binder solution and create the vortex of the material being mixed, the impeller and the chopper comes with dual speed options.

SIDE DISCHARGE VALVE:

Side discharge valve operated by ASS spindle connected to pneumatic cylinder in closed position, is given on the bottom side. The gate is flushed with the contour of the bowl.

To avoid the starting of valve or the motors at the time of cleaning operation, a safety lock is provided at the discharge port.

The coating pan is enclosed with different things including Motor, MS cladding with standard gear box, air filter, hot air blowing arrangement with SS pan inside making the outside covering easily cleanable. In order to avoid foundation, the machine is been placed on dyna mounts and the coating machine 30”, 36”, 42” or 48” has hot air blowing system with variable speed. Two speeds of 60” or 72” coating machine is available with step pulley without hot air blowing system. So as to avoid burning of hearts, the cilt coating machine has interlocked circuit and can be operated only when the blowers are ‘ON’.
